I love what this book has to say about children and their broken spirits, how they bring their brokenness with them into adulthood, and how they find forgiveness and peace. It also has a great deal to say about the adults and other monsters - and all their lies, manipulations, deceits, and other falsehoods which cause it all. On the outset, what an incredible adventure. Behind it all, a softly spoken read directed at the heart of every broken child - no matter his or her age.
